introduction
Before she was even born, Reyna was a very special child. Her mother was a highly devoted worshipper of Queen Daemis, who lost her husband in an awful attack against their home. Despite being pregnant with their second child, she and their two year old daughter survived without any major injuries, though she took some heavy hits to her stomach and worried for the safety of her unborn child. As her husband took his last breaths, she prayed to her goddess for the safety of her unborn child. And though there was no response that could be seen or heard by the human eye, a comforting presence washed over the mother and left her with a clear sentence ringing in her head - She is going to make us all proud.
As expected, a few months later her second daughter was born. She named her Reyna, a name beloved by her now deceased husband. Though she was filled with happiness over her daughter's safety, she also knew the weight of Queen Daemis words and blessing - her child was going to become an exceptional Isakrian citizen. She was going to make sure of it.
Reyna’s blessing from Queen Daemis started showing very early on. She had exceptional innate magical abilities, an eye for immense precision and was a natural talent with the bow and arrow. Her older sister, despite training even harder than Reyna, never had a chance to keep up. Regardless of this, the two were very close, and sometimes Reyna felt that her sister was the only person who saw her for more than her god-granted powers. Their relationship however, was soon to meet its end. When Reyna was twelve, the two sisters ended up in an exceptionally violent snowstorm. Caught between a hungry pack of wolves, the two sisters were separated - only for the mountainside to give out underneath her sister. Despite being told all her life that she was going to be the most honorable Isakrian warrior, Reyna could do nothing but watch as her sister helplessly fell towards certain death. Something in her snapped that day. If only she would have been stronger, she would have been able to save her. And she is never, ever, going to fail again.
Appearance and Personality
Reyna is dressed in the Isakrian blue colors, wearing a simple blue long sleeve and brown pants. She has a dark blue coat draped over her shoulder, and the head of a wolf worn as a hat - as well as earrings made out of its teeth. Her skin is quite pale, her eyes are deep blue and she has strawberry blonde hair down to her waist. On each of her cheeks are simple blue markings, representing her family name. While not wielding her bow, she often has it hanging on her back.
Reyna has always been a closed-off child, but she used to at least have a the occasional carefree moments. Since the death of her sister, Reyna no longer allows herself to let her guard down. Hardened by the harsh cruelty of the universe from a very early age, as well as her superhuman skills through Queen Daemis’ blessing, Reyna is often both mistaken for and treated as if she was an adult. She is already highly ranking within the Isakrian military, and never questions her superiors except for when they seem uninformed. The perfect soldier of Isakra - though some wonder if any of her humanity remains, or if she has merely become a soulless weapon to the kingdom.
